Molo Care
supports Active School
by linking
our donors with specific school/education based programs. There are
no overhead costs, our efforts are purely voluntary. The Tides Foundation
is our fiscal sponsor, allowing each gift to be fully tax deductible
under 501 (c) 3 Federal regulations. The Tides Foundation transfers
funds to the Active School board, where they are allocated by the
board’s agreement and discretion. The Active School board is
fully independent and accountable. They are best able to respond to
emergent needs. When Cebelile Primary had a sewage leak in February,
2007, causing toxic fumes and unsafe conditions, Active Schools was
able to move quickly to fund the plumbing repairs and keep the school
safe, and open.
